Completing the PFQ is perfect for anyone considering a step into Project Management or wishing to gain a better understanding of the subject. It is also the ideal stepping stone for further study, such as the APM PMQ.
Description
The Project Fundamental Qualification (PFQ) (SCQF L6) is the equivalent to a level 3 qualification. It has been introduced by the APM to offer an essential understanding of the basics of project management tools, techniques and terminology.
No previous Project Management knowledge or experience is required as the qualification provide a broad understanding of the principles of Project Management.
What's the outcome?
Having undertaken the workshop, you should be more confident in being able to apply APM project management language to the areas of project management and eventually undertake the APM PFQ exam.
Through more widespread adoption of the APM approach, projects will be delivered in a more consistent fashion across your organisation. This will result in more projects being successfully delivered in line with expectations of time, cost and quality.
What does it involve?
Virtual Classrooms: 3 days – (2 full workshop days plus exam)
PFQ syllabus delivered over 2 days with the online exam sat on the morning of day 3.
The course includes tutor led learning and discussion, group activities and self-directed learning.
NB In order to run this session, we require a minimum of 10 learners.
