Developing your career as a project management professional requires a thorough understanding of numerous areas of business including budgeting, conflict management, negotiation and teamwork.
This can be achieved by gaining your project management qualification (APM PMQ). Accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM).
Whether you have been studying for your APM PMQ alone, using e-learning or simply require additional support, this workshop is designed to help you prepare for your PMQ exam.
The learning activities will be tailored to the specific needs of the workshop attendees, concentrating on those subjects which the group feels need most attention over the course of 2 or 3 days.
The workshop is aimed at project managers with at least 2 years’ experience in a project environment.
This topic does not include the PMQ exam itself. This must be booked separately.
What’s the outcome?
Having undertaken the workshop, you should be more confident in being able to apply APM techniques to the areas of project management and eventually undertake the APM PMQ exam.
Through more widespread adoption of the APM approach, projects will be delivered in a more consistent fashion across your organisation. This will result in more projects being successfully delivered in line with expectations of time, cost and quality.
What does it involve?
Delivered face2face, this topic takes you through all the relevant components of the APM syllabus. The focus is on assessing individual areas for improvement and preparing for your eventual exam.
Learners are expected to have already studied extensively
for their APM PMQ prior to attending this workshop. During the workshop, an additional 2 hours of evening study – in the shape of further reading and mock exam questions – will be required.
